My experience at the resort was a mix of highs and lows. The clean and comfortable teepee accommodations exceeded my expectations, and the rafting trip was a highlight, thanks to a fantastic guide. However, the delays and organization of the activities could use improvement, and the dining experience was a bit hit or miss at times. Overall, it’s a great place for families, but some aspects left me wanting more.
Our stay was unforgettable, especially because of the amazing teepee accommodation that exceeded our expectations in comfort and space. The setting by the Thompson River is breathtaking, offering stunning views and a unique experience. While the communal aspects of the resort add to the charm, the proximity to the train tracks can be a disturbance for light sleepers. Overall, I found the value excellent, especially with the memorable rafting experience included.
We had an amazing time at Kumsheen! The rafting experience was exhilarating and the guides made us feel completely at ease. The location by the Thompson River was breathtaking, especially with the stunning views of the canyon. The amenities like the pool were a great addition, although the noise from nearby parties was a bit disruptive on the first night. Overall, it's an adventure-filled getaway that we can't wait to repeat!
My stay was incredible! We had an exhilarating adventure paddle rafting and enjoyed some great accommodations. The staff were truly first-class and made us feel right at home. The dining experience was delicious, especially the buffet prior to our rafting trip. However, the noise from the trains passing nearby was quite noticeable at night, which impacted the overall relaxation.
This resort offers an amazing experience right in nature, especially if you're into outdoor activities like rafting and camping. The accommodations are clean and quite cozy, providing a family-friendly atmosphere that's perfect for both relaxation and adventure. The dining options are decent, although I'd recommend reserving ahead to ensure you get a spot. The hot tub and pool are fantastic additions to unwind after a long day outdoors.
